How these price ranges are calculated
This page uses indicative 2026 planning ranges, not a live quotation. The ranges combine published domestic-airfare and authority information with Amigo Treks’ operating experience, typical teahouse and menu costs, and common guide and porter arrangements on a 14–15 day Nayapul route.
The assumptions are one traveller in a small organised group, standard mountain lodging, ordinary meals and drinks, and no premium equipment or private jeep. Figures are shown in US dollars for comparison, are not a promise of availability, and do not assume a particular exchange rate or tax treatment. Reconfirm the date, inclusions, taxes, exchange rate, group size and cancellation terms in a written quotation before booking.

Costs trekkers often underestimate
Charging devices, hot showers, Wi-Fi, bottled or boiled water, snacks and tips become more expensive with altitude. Keep cash in Nepalese rupees because card facilities and ATMs cannot be relied on above Ghorepani.
Travel insurance is separate from an evacuation itself. A helicopter evacuation may require insurer authorisation or payment assurance, so understand the claims process before leaving Kathmandu.

Why do ABC trek prices vary so much?
Packages use different hotels, meal plans, staff ratios, group sizes, flight allowances and contingency policies. Compare inclusions line by line rather than comparing only the headline price.
How much cash should I carry on the trail?
Many trekkers allow roughly USD 25–40 per day in Nepalese rupees for drinks, snacks, showers, charging, Wi-Fi and tips, adjusted for what their package already includes.
Are international flights included?
They are normally excluded unless a quotation specifically says otherwise. Kathmandu–Pokhara road transfers may be included in a trekking package.
