- Use valley temples and viewpoints as a meaningful alternative.
- Do not combine the full hike with Punakha transfer or a same-day international connection.
Arrival and departure days are shorter than they look
Landing after lunch and flying out in the morning does not give you two sightseeing days. Check the real flight or border times first. If a missed connection would be costly, spend the final night in Paro.
