# Make the public discussion useful and safe.

Approved accounts can ask questions and share route notes on public guide pages. The discussion is a traveller-to-traveller space, not a medically or commercially verified advice service.

## Good contributions

Ask a specific travel question, explain the route and season you mean, separate firsthand experience from opinion, and give other travellers enough context to judge whether your situation is similar. Be respectful when people have different budgets, abilities, nationalities or travel styles.

## Do not post

Do not post harassment, hate speech, threats, doxxing, private contact details, passport or payment information, medical records, malware, spam, undisclosed advertising, impersonation, fraudulent reviews or instructions for evading permit or visa rules.

Do not present dangerous medical instructions as a substitute for clinical care. Community posts about altitude, medicines, injuries or evacuation are not medical advice. Moderators may remove content that could foreseeably put someone at risk.

## Accounts and moderation

Registration asks for a name, email and password. An administrator approves accounts before posting. The audited application can suspend accounts and public pages hide contributions from suspended users. There is no promise that every comment is medically, legally or factually verified, and no formal appeal workflow is currently implemented.

Report a concern to info@amigotrekking.com with the page URL, post date, displayed name and a short description. Do not forward private data that is not needed to assess the report.

## Public visibility

Contributions are displayed with the user's name, text and date on public pages. Do not post anything you would not want other visitors or search engines to see. Email addresses and authentication secrets are not intended for public display, but a public post can still be copied by others.

## Removal and account requests

The current code does not provide a self-service account deletion or post-editing workflow. Contact the privacy/editorial address for a correction, removal or account question. The team will assess the request against safety, privacy, moderation, legal and record-keeping needs.
