Guide, porter and agency roles
A porter carries an agreed load; a licensed trekking guide provides route judgment, health observation, logistics and emergency coordination. A porter-guide may combine roles only when qualifications, duties and insurance are explicitly confirmed. TIMS and route documents should be arranged through a registered agency where the current provision applies.
