## Lukla Flight Operations: Kathmandu vs Ramechhap

- Peak Season (October–November & March–May): Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) redirects most Lukla flights to Manthali Airport in Ramechhap to avoid Kathmandu air traffic delays.

- Transfer to Ramechhap: Requires a 4-to-5-hour road drive departing Kathmandu at 1:00 AM–2:00 AM on the morning of your flight.

- Baggage Allowance: Domestic flights to Lukla strictly enforce a 15 kg total baggage limit (10 kg duffel + 5 kg daypack per passenger).
