# Everest Base Camp Wi-Fi Prices and Internet Access

There is no single wi-fi and online access price that applies to every lodge, season or itinerary. Access is usually paid, variable and less reliable as the route climbs. Treat every figure as a planning estimate until you receive a dated written quotation.

- Lodge internet is supplied via prepaid Wi-Fi cards (Everest Link / AirJaldi) or communal satellite routers.

## Build a realistic reserve

Keep a Nepalese-rupee cash reserve for small purchases and a separate emergency plan for delays, early returns or medical support. Do not assume a card, ATM, internet connection or lodge service will be available at every stop.

A responsible budget protects acclimatization days, staff welfare, insurance and a safe change of plan before optional comfort upgrades.

## What internet can and cannot do

Treat connectivity as a convenience, not an emergency system. Paid networks become less predictable as the route climbs, so store documents, contacts and maps offline.
