Settlement sequence

Tilije → Thonje → Dharapani

Bridges and trail conditions

Village paths and road sections descend toward the Marsyangdi corridor. Bridges and checkpoint formalities, not technical trail, determine timing; vehicle traffic increases near Dharapani.

Water and lunch points

Breakfast in Tilije and refill there. Tea and food are available around Thonje or Dharapani, so only a normal morning supply is needed.

Toilets and hygiene

Use lodge facilities in Tilije, Thonje or Dharapani. The short route passes inhabited areas, but public toilets are not consistently signed.

Mobile network and Wi-Fi

Mobile data and Wi-Fi become more plausible as the route joins the Annapurna corridor. Use arrival to confirm road conditions and notify Kathmandu contacts.

Common pacing mistake

Booking a same-evening international flight. The walk is short, but jeep delays, transfers, landslides and Kathmandu traffic can turn the exit into a full day or more.

Arrival facilities

Dharapani has lodges, shops, meals, permit/checkpoint services and the rough-road connection toward Besisahar. Vehicle availability and the actual roadhead must be reconfirmed.
