Travelers may encounter reports that checkpoint practice has differed in the Khumbu. That operational inconsistency does not override the published NTB guidance. The responsible approach is to arrange the listed documents and reconfirm the municipality's current registration process before departure.
Side trips outside the standard EBC corridor, restricted areas, climbing peaks or entry from a different region can introduce additional permits. Tell your operator the full intended route before documents are arranged.
